cds: in or out?

With the rumors swirling that my favorite CD store in the world is going out of business and being replaced by an Apple store, I decided to investigate the whole topic of CDs. Upon really close looking at my CD library, which is stacked under my desk, I realized I have approximately 27 CDs (my friends and I trade CDs a lot, so it's a calculated guess), but I've only bought three in recent months. In recent months, I've bought $40 worth of music on iTunes, altogether about $200.
So, what's your opinion? CDs: are they in or out? Would you rather have a CD or the easy convenience of iTunes, which also offers movie rentals, TV shows, and music videos?
FYI: I hate the phrase "in or out." It's so cliche, but it's only fitting as this whole topic seems to be a little cliche to me. But whatever.
