construction construction!

Usually when my mom wraps her brain around a construction project, it is never a good idea. I mean, it took three months to do my room (which is quite awesome), a month and a half to do our kitchen (which is also awesome, but we ate microwaveable food for the duration of the project), and a few weeks to do my brother's room. So when she decided to do the living room/upstairs hallway/staircase (they flow), I was freaking out a little. Because that would mean chaos in two major parts of the house.
Neither room is exactly done yet, but a thin layer of dust has settled upon the house like a layer of gloom and doom. Before/after pics to come soon.
