i miss you.

So today was my grandpa's day here--our county actually named one special day for my grandpa, and today was it. We went to visit him at his resting place in Jackson, and I just wanted to say:

I miss you, Grandpa.

It's been a scary long time without you here, and I don't know how we got through a whole year and two months without you there. I know we left flowers today, and I know you have your spot, and I know you're in a better place according to Mom, and I know you went peacefully and it put you out of your misery. But gosh, Grandpa, I miss you.
