I've totes been absent for the past, like, week and a half--sorry bout that =] but I'm back! and better than ever...probably. haha well lemme tell ya all about my week
First I was on Aunt Shell's boat watching the fireworks, which was kinda nice since we sat on the bow of the boat and we had, like, front-row seats anyway. But my favorite part was watching the reflections of the fireworks on the hospital's windows. And we were talking about whether or not it would be nice to give birth in a waterfront room on the Fourth of July with the fireworks right there. Eh, I think I'd hate that. Because, um, isn't giving birth stressful enough? {Not that I would know. Seriously. But just saying.}
And then we had baseball...God, I was in such a grumpy mood for the first double-header that I refused to talk to anyone. And, well, sorry if I alienated anyone by being a grumpy butt. I was in a seriously bad mood.
And then more baseball. Oh, and a barbecue at Stacy&Uncle Vin's. And fireworks.
Okay, confesssion time: I HATE fireworks. Like, ever since I was a little kid and we lived near a beach that shot off fireworks every Thursday night, I've been terrified of them. And then when we moved here like ten years ago, our neighbors set off fireworks every Fourth of July. I can't seem to get a break! =] ahhh, I don't mind. It just seriously freaks me out when there are so many fireworks. Like the noise, and the booms, and the fire (did I mention I hate fire???)
So, yeah. Oh, and I went to Mar's for a sleepover and we made this funny-looking things we called "friendship bracelet mess thingies" or something like that. And we watched Meet the Spartans, which was so funny. We were counting all the spoofs it had and there ended up being a lot. I forget how many (wikipedia has a full list of them, hahaa). Even the title is a spoof of Meet the Parents&&Meet the Fockers.
Oh, and then Monday I was...doing nothing. My laptop was broken. And is still kinda not working. And then Tuesday we went to Aunt Shell's marina for a while, before going to Grandpa's.
Aww! Wednesday we saw Wall-E. It's so adorable. Seriously, you totally have to see it. It's amazing...and it calls all us Americans fat people, which, um, is totally true (not to be mean or anything) and points out the fact that we're screwing up this earth with, like, way too much garbage and also....okay, just go watch it. It's totally a PSA basically declaring we seriously have to save this planet or ELSE we're all gonna end up fat with no bones left in our bodies living on the mother ship out in the middle of space, which we've ALSO gunked up with garbage. And the commercial for the movie on TV just said so. Well, basically.
I just realized the movie sounds so depressing. =[ and it's really not, it was so cute and perfect and lovable and god. I've been away from this blogging thing far too long.
And today we went to the boardwalk and had a Skeeball tournament....Aunt Shell won. But I was most annoyed about the fact that the fudge shop we went in last year didn't have sour watermelons. Um, hello? They TOTALLY had sour watermelons last year and this year...nada. I was so upset. So now I gotta go all the way to the candy store in Red Bank for my sour watermelons fix. Seriously. =[ oh, boo-hoo.
Oh! {grrrrrrr---I really have to find a new way to start paragraphs} I got a catalog for Delia's in the mail--how, I have no idea--and they have the cutest sweater boots that are deff cheaper than Uggs and cuter. And they have ALL COLORS of Converse! I can finally get the bright orange Converse I've been pining for!!!!! You don't know how happy I was. I even texted my friend Courtney who's in Florida right now to tell her the news. She loves Converse and has like every color known to mankind {and probly even more!!! ahhaha} and she was happy for meeeee =] and also, my friend Jamie showed me all kindsa cute shoes that she wants for back to school. I'm kinda sad that I'm not gonna be able to see her wear them at school next year cuz I'm not gonna be at her school. Gahhhh it made me sad. very sad.
Ya know, iTunes is being a butthead today. I bought two songs on my iPod Touch and now it's not putting them back on my computer. Sheesh. And it won't even OPEN support, so how am I supposed to get support?
Well, yeah. OMG I'm so close to being done with my story--like thisclose. Seriously. I'm probly gonna post the characters soon. SOON, I promise!!! I might even give the story its own blog. It's that special. =]

And a big chalkboard wall in the hallway =] both are covered in my ginormous, loopy scrawl. and my friends' contrasting handwriting too. i love doodling random stuff =]
