13 songs i never thought i would have on my ipod.

1. american pie--don mcclean. why? it's really long. but when you actually listen to it, it kind of resonates. and it's fun to sing along to.
2. bring it (snakes on a plane)--cobra starship. why? because at first i was convinced that since my brother was listening to this, it must have been ridiculously brain-numbing. actually, it's a good song. again, good to sing along to.
3. cool--gwen stefani. why? at first, this song really really annoyed me. it was just a stupid song. but when i made myself plop my butt down in my chair and actually take a while to listen to it, it was such a good song that it's now in my faves playlist.
4. everyday--high school musical 2 cast. why? because. it's high school musical 2. i mean...yeah. but it's a happy song, and god knows i need more of those on my ipod, so it stays.
5. girlfriend--avril lavigne. why? let's just say i don't know why i bought this song in the first place. however, when i listen to it when i'm running, it puts me in a better mood.
6. i'm like a lawyer (me and you)--fall out boy. why? okay, when i first downloaded this whole album, i listened to all of the songs and deleted this one from my ipod entirely. it was so...not fall out boy. but now that i listened to it, i really love this song and quite honestly, this is one song i would not be able to live without. well, that sounds drastic. but it's still an awesome song and seriously deserved all of the space it got in this post.
7. i miss you--miley cyrus. why? four words: i. hate. miley. cyrus. okay, i don't hate her--wait, yes i do. she's just...ugh. and the racy pictures circulating lately disgust me. but whatever, this is about the song. it reminds me of my grandpa, and i listen to it mostly when i'm sad.
8. a little more personal--lindsay lohan. why? it's lindsay lohan. and she's destined to be...well, definitely not a singer, but this song is a really really great song. surprisingly.
9. lonely--akon. why? it makes me giggle.
10. the rock show--blink 182. why? it's blink 182 and, like reason #2, it's a brother-adored band. ugh...little brothers. so all in all, i just never liked blink 182, but this song is a summer song. happy. fast-paced.
11. since you been gone--kelly clarkson. why? i never liked kelly clarkson. something about her and american idol and the peppiness of american idol and oh, how i hate american idol. but this song showed me that just sometimes, american idol can churn out a good song or two. just maybe.
12. wake up--hilary duff. why? the disney-fication of stars (see reason #7) irks me terribly, and this is a disneyish song, but i actually like it. a lot.
13. when you look me in the eyes--jonas brothers. why? no, i'm not a jonas-brother groupie and honestly, i only like a few of their songs. this one is really sweet.

**disclaimer** first of all, this list was meant to entertain me and only me. i'm really really bored. second, i'm sorry i haven't capitalized anything. it's annoying me, but i'm feeling really really lazy and my pinky finger hurts. we had to do a lot of writing today. third, it's thirteen because i was going through my songs on my ipod when i realized i actually had 13 songs that i never thought i would put on my ipod, but i was planning on 10. oops!
